Synopsis

2 States tells the romantic journey of Krish Malhotra and Ananya Swaminathan, two young lovers from culturally contrasting backgrounds. They meet at IIM Ahmedabad, where their friendship blossoms into love during their studies. But after the program ends, their biggest challenge begins — deciding to marry despite coming from different parts of India. Krish is a Punjabi boy from Delhi, while Ananya is a Tamil Brahmin from Chennai. Determined to win their parents’ approval before tying the knot, they face a daunting cultural clash. When their families meet, opposition and misunderstandings arise, putting their relationship to the test. The couple soon realizes that winning hearts is far tougher than defying norms.
